Teddy, who heaped contempt on his Catholic faith by his unwavering support of abortion, will no doubt be given full Church funeral rites probably by at least a Bishop if not a Cardinal. He deserved excommunication. God is both merciful and just and I’m sure Teddy had much to account for when they met face to face.
TOTALLY disagreed with just about EVERY thing this man stood for, but he was someone’s son, father, uncle and brother—prayers going up for his family and friends, and prayers for his soul as he stood before God to atone for all he’d done down here on earth during his lifetime.
I hear the cremation will be very simple....all they need is a wick and a match...
Nothing I could say would be tasteful so...
Condolences to his family.
to paraphrase Ozzy:
Satan,laughing, spreads his wings.
I’m kind of surprised here. Not at many of the mean comments on this and other threads regarding the death of Sen. Kennedy.
But that Jim Robinson and the moderators would allow them to stay.
But... Teddy Kennedy lived the type of life that held him up as an icon for scorn and derision.
So why shouldn’t he die that way?
Nobody should die this way, that’s why.
We should all die in our beds, sleeping peacefully and it is a pitiable thing when it happens other ways, as it does, to both good people and others.
Those on that other site are praising him. I don't see much of that here and rightly so.
May he RIP.
OK, now that I’m done with the magnanimous bit...
What I’m “sad” about re: his passing is missing out on the satisfaction of watching him waste away publicly. Unlike Mary Jo Kopechne, Kennedy died quietly and comfortably, in old age, at home.
That liberal lyin’ ba$tard intentionally helped to break this country. Oh, there will be countless accolades about how “great” he was. In my opinion, the man was an unmitigated disaster. I won’t miss the POS one bit.
Now is the time we must redouble efforts to elect an electible Republican to fill the vacant Senate seat in Massachusetts.
I do, however, offer condolences to his family. They didn’t ask for his deeds.
41 years too late.
My thoughts on the way to work this morning on hearing the news.
I hope they do. Anything that damages that party further, the better.
May it be that his last moments were visited with the small spirits and images of over 40 million innocent children he and his family and comrades promoted.
There. Fixed it.
“the murder of which”
which=whom
Why should you focus on his death and not his life?
His death was but a few moments in contrast to the depravity of a life he lived.
What’s the old saying? “You live by the sword, you die by the sword”.
I was remarking on what someone posted. And really, why should you focus on what I should focus on rather than tending to yourself.
