It was leading the legislative charge to disengage America from South Vietnam in 1975. We had WON that war. There was a peace treaty. The North would stay in the North. That was the objective of the war wasn’t it? But Liberals, led by “the Lion of the Senate”, “the Greatest senator of the 20th Century”, withdrew every kind of support for our allies in a post-watergate temper-tantrum. The result was and American military burdened with a reputation for having lost a war that it had WON, 175,000 free human beings being sent to re-education camps, the fall of Cambodia and 2 million slaughtered people, God knows how many dead South Vietnamese, and a million poor souls floating into the ocean looking to get away from Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Jane Fonda, and the American Left’s buddies, the communists.

I won’t be shedding any tears over poor little brother Ted. Call me “partisan”.
