lets see....didn’t a CIA director die in a canoeing accident?

I'm not sure it was a director, but he was definitely a higher up.

In any case, I'd be surprised if Panetta resigns, but you never know. However, with this publicity, I don't think even Obama would dare to reach out and touch him. Not yet, at least, until he has put his own totally glued-to-his-rump boy in the slot.

It was Colby..and he knew and was involved in a lot of dirt. His close Friend said he was killed because he was about to reveal something.

You’re probably thinking about Bill Colby, CIA director in the 1970’s, who died mysteriously while sailing alone on Chesapeake Bay about a dozen years ago.

But this incident was so long after Colby’s retirement that even the most imaginative conspiracy theorists haven’t been able to spin out a convincing narrative. Probably just a freak accident.
