I think your cat needs to pay a visit to Clint’s house.

Um, your cat is dangerous.
I’m sorry to tell you this but the cat should be put on medication and checked for parasites.

Do you ever have children in your house?

WHY ARE CAT BITES SO DANGEROUS?

Why is it that cat bites can be so dangerous? Over one million bites are reported in the United States yearly, most in children. Close contact with cats poses an important health risk to certain segments of the human population.

Cat bite wounds are more likely to become infected in people who are under 10 years of age or more than 50 years old. Systemic complications from bit wounds occur more commonly when the patient has underlying disease such as liver or kidney failure, diabetes mellitus, or degenerative joint disease.

Infection with human immuno-deficiency virus (HIV), or treatment with immunosuppressive drugs for cancer, immune-mediated diseases or for organ transplantation, have rendered these patients more susceptible to infection with zoonotic diseases. Patients with prosthetic heart valves or joints are more likely to develop systemic or local complications from cat bite wounds. If you are bitten by a cat, contact your doctor immediately.

Like we didn’t know it was coming???

OK, store story time!!! A couple of hours ago one of the welfare clan came in bought a pack of cupcakes, PAID CASH FOR IT, and left. No big deal.......UNTIL, about 10 minutes later I look right across the street maybe 200 feet from here, her being handcuffed and put into the back of a CPD car, along with another woman. Now these aren’t young uns, they’re both in their late 40’s. The other lady is released first and after the other one’s mother(the one that was in the store)came so was she. In all, almost half an hour passed....

So the cop car does a u-turn(in rush hour traffic)to come into my lot cause they wanted to eat at Subway. I intercept them, they both have been in the store before and asked them what happened. Turns out the 2 idiots were drinking in the open lot and when the cops confronted them the 1 called them both dummies....

I told the cops that all she’s ever done is sit on her ass and collect welfare and this is her idea of having fun.......

sigh

You go to a hospital with a wound and they report it to your local town. Cop comes to your house writes you out a ticket. I own the cat and I am responsible for his behavior. I have all the papers from the vet(shots and examinations). I have told all the kids in the neighborhood not to approach him. He is a very handsome grey swirl cat with a big O on both sides. My teenage daughter insisted that that I adopt him as a feral 4 years ago. He can be very nice 90% of the time. But he has a dark side about him that I am trying to shake him out of. He constantly kills birds, mice, rabbits and fields dresses them and eats them.

I’ve been bitten and scratched several times. No problems.

Hmmm. I’ve heard of Feline Distemper, but have had cats my whole life who will occasionally “love” bite - their way of saying “don’t pet me there”, without ever breaking the skin.

Sounds like a normal cat, except for the biting.

Give it another 2 months. Then it will cool off.......

Good start for Sergio in Jersey. -6 after round 1. Padraig 2 back, Tiger 5 back and Phil rallies late in the round to get to even....

I adopted an older cat who LOVES TO HUNT. The only problem with him is we have to give him worm pills from the vet 2 or 3 times a year. He sometimes brings his kill to the back stoop so that we can admire the trophy, and praise him for a job well done.

We’re out in the country, and he is one happy cat!

Public Health authorities take animal bites seriously. Even if it comes from a beloved pet.
