“You are my chocolate and the love of my life”
My memory and spanish are terrible but my wife used to sing it to me and I am looking for the original version so I can play it for her. It is from the late 70’s I think.

We’re researching the song. We’ve found references to it on the internet but so far, no song. It may be a long-lost poem but we’re not sure about that. If such a song exists we’ll find it. We have involved many members of the Cuban-American nationwide community who have lived here since 1960 and are “music geniuses”. We’ll find something. :-) It just may take some time.
Here’s the correct spelling of the Spanish:
Tú eres el chocolate de mi vida.....You are the chocolate of my life.
