Robert Kennedy actually got his start in politics working on investigations for Senator Joseph McCarthy. Joe Kennedy may have earned the family fortune off insider information but until Teddy came along, nobody in the family delighted in cozying up to Communists.

What is even more strange to me is that there was also a 'Polish' Pope working with Reagan to tear down that 'iron curtain'. Now why would Teddy work against his own church?
