My son works for Wal-mart and they have had a sign in their window for over 1 month. Lots of college students are also going back to college opening up slots all over the place, my sons job included.

One of his friends said he applied everywhere and just couldn't get a job. Yeah, right! He's 20 and never had a job and really didn't want one. My son could have gotten him a job at Wal-mart as well, nope didn't even apply! This is our lazy America that states they scoop poop until poop comes and they say nah, I'll just whine!

My son tried to get a job for over a year. Finally, after 3 apps with Wal-mart he got two interviews and they hired him. About 6 weeks ago. But, he says the turnover in his dept is 80%.

I have been on the other side of it, too qualified/underqualified and no one would hire me. Took a really long time. That may be what this woman is experiencing.
