Google Dirt showed the vineyards but it also gave me their website. Bob was a long time supervisor in Marin County while he was living in Lake county. We had mutual friends and when I would visit in Lakeport he would come over with a case of his wine and I would take home what we didn’t drink. I think Trader Joes carries it. I can’t find it up here...

Some folks who once considered themselves conservatives don't come back here, even if I'm not wearing my "Reagan was a Pinko" t-shirt :o)
Our closest good winery is in Idaho. Ste Chappelle Riesling is my favorite from them. One of our wonderful local micros, Wasatch Brewery's India Pale Ale is also a treat.
I'm still struggling through the depression that the closure of Spanish Peaks' Black Dog Ale sent me into.
That was a great micro brew. (Spanish Peaks’ Black Dog Ale).
If the Oregone tax and spend legislature taxes the micro brewers as they planned to earlier this year. Many will be moving to Idaho, Nevada and maybe Utah.
It helps if you come from a long lived family too.
