In regards to Kennedy, how are you to know if he did or did not meet with his confessor prior to his death? From what I've heard, he did receive Last Rights and, I assume, Reconciliation.

From what I've heard, he did receive Last Rights and, I assume, Reconciliation. In which case the life that Kennedy had just repented of, i.e. his previous four decades in the Senate, should not have been in focus.
