As long as Boehner refuses to stand down, and the House GOP continues to be too afraid to retool and begin promoting their own message, Mike Pence's talents will continue to go neglected in the #3 spot.
Once the House Republicans decide it's time to step out from under their desks and pursue a liberty agenda in the sunlight with a charismatic leader, then they will give Mike Pence the top spot. But not until then. The fate of the 2010 midterms depend on whether or not they are ready.
Unfortunately, it will require either Boehner to be motivated by something besides arrogance for once, or for the spineless GOP to mount a revolt against him, something even less likely from the gang that is too timid to even stand up to the other party's leader.
Perhaps one of the things we should have been demanding at these townhalls is for Boehner to be pushed aside if he refuses to step aside on his own.
