Could George W. Bush end up behind bars?

(CNN) -- Could George W. Bush or some of his top aides end up behind bars?

It's extremely unlikely, but the Obama administration is taking its first steps along a path that could lead in that direction, with the investigation of Central Intelligence Agency interrogators involved in the war on terror.

"You don't know where these things are going to end up," former CIA agent Peter Brookes told me. "They could go to very high levels in the government."

The probe will focus on whether interrogators exceeded their instructions and broke the law when, for example, they choked a prisoner until he lost consciousness or threatened another one with a gun and a power drill.

Sounds like some people around here have taken an oath to be servants of GWB, in the same way Demi Moore did to Obama in that kooky Ashton Kutcher video.

My loyalty is first to God, then to the U.S. Constitution.

I worship no man.

The American Civil Liberties Union, an activist organization that campaigns against prisoner abuse, says “any investigation that truly follows the facts where they lead would inevitably lead to prosecutions of high government officials,”
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I sincerely hope that the CIA will turn up the evidence needed ( and get it to those who could best utilize it) to have Obama evicted from the White House and sent to prison.

Personally, I would not want the CIA mad at me.

George W. Bush and I worship the same God, through Jesus Christ.

When defending a man's integrity is degraded as being worship, the degrader needs to wake up to his own delusions.

btw, Jimmy Carter was an anti-American, leftist radical who nearly destroyed this country. What a stupid comment from a thoughtless person.

Nor do I.

Stop the false accusations based on ignorance and blindness. You're making yourself look like a fool.

We're trying, Carolyn. We're trying.

The mood has changed significantly in Ohio since the election. A lot of people are waking up to the stupidity of voting for Obama, and recaliming their conservatism.

“My loyalty is first to God, then to the U.S. Constitution.

Nor should you. No mortal man is worthy of such adoration. That kind of “politics” leads to tyranny.

What a stupid comment from a thoughtless person.

LOL!!! I criticize some of GWB's policies, and not the man himself. You then come back at me with personal insults. And I'm the hater?

I don't know what God you serve, but it certainly cannot be Jesus Christ; for He would never call me, or anyone else, a stupid, thoughtless person.

It was a stupid comment to make a parallel between the "Christianity" of Jimmy Carter and the faith of George W. Bush.

You clearly put no thought into that when you grossly insulted me.

Now do not attack my faith in Jesus Christ again, and we can let this go.

He tried ...
Trying only counts in horseshoes. FACT: He didn't!

provisions Reagan agreed to
And failed to provide said provisions.

TARP was signed by whom?
See post #295

For CFR, see my post #263

NCLB roll call vote

Medicare-D
If medicare cannot be done away with altogether, which it can't, then I'm all for paying $50.00 a month for heart meds or insulin as opposed to paying $50,000 to 300,000 for a foot amputation or open heart surgery.

Personal freedoms include freedom from federal government interference outside legitimate authority.

We finally agree on something! Do some research into Reagan's Transportation Department and get back to me.

You don’t do your liberal Republican friend any favors by attacking Reagan for his mistakes.

And you don't do anyone any favors by attacking President Bush for his "mistakes". I find it hypocritical that Reagan made "mistakes" but President Bush "broke his oath of office"

Jimmy Carter was a born-again Christian too. Was he also incapable of doing any wrong in your eyes because of it? What is it with people today?

GWB worship -- if you criticize Bush you are a Bush-Hater and unAmerican.

Obama worship -- if you criticize Obama you are an Obama-Hater, a racist, and unAmerican....

Why can't all you Nancy Pelosi wannabes allow someone to be critical of a president, any president, without calling us "haters"?

Reminder that this is what you said to me when I simply defended the authenticity of the Christianity of George W. Bush.

You called me a "Nancy Pelosi wannabe," an idol worshipper, a hypocrite and fundamentally a stupid person who probably fell for Jimmy Carter's lies.

And you are now whining about my "insults" and denigrating my faith again.

Please note that these are facts about you as a thoughtless person. (That's the kindest word I can come up with to describe your despicable and downright nasty personal insults here).

“Trying only counts in horseshoes. FACT: He didn’t!”

Wow. So, the push for HillaryCare can’t be held against Clinton, because it failed, right? Same - WRONG - argument.

“And failed to provide said provisions.”

That was Congress, George HW Bush, Bill Clinton, and GWB.

“If medicare cannot be done away with altogether, which it can’t, then I’m all for paying $50.00 a month for heart meds or insulin as opposed to paying $50,000 to 300,000 for a foot amputation or open heart surgery.”

So, socialism is good if it benefits YOU. I see.

“We finally agree on something! Do some research into Reagan’s Transportation Department and get back to me.”

DHS ring a bell?

” And you don’t do anyone any favors by attacking President Bush for his “mistakes”. I find it hypocritical that Reagan made “mistakes” but President Bush “broke his oath of office””

Did Reagan sign anything he had previously stated he KNEW to be unconstitutional?

I know the Presidential Oath. Either he broke it or was not capable of executing it. Which is it?

when you grossly insulted me.

LOL. As if your posts are models of virtue. Do you ever bother to read some of the things you say?

Someone says, "GWB's attempt to pass amnesty for illegals was wrong." Normally, someone would reply, "You are wrong. GWB's attempt at amnesty was good for the country because...." But not you! You simply say, "You are a hateful, stupid fool."

Someone says, "GWB's Prescription Drug Entitlement was wrong." What does ohioWfan say? "Actually, the drug entitlement was good for the country because...." No, ohioWfans' reply is, "What a hateful, stupid fool you are!"

I have yet to see you explain specifically why any of the GWB policies some people object to around here were good for the country. You simply call people haters and fools, and move on.

Another tactic of the commies...take the debate to the other side of the field.

I say Bush Bashers are as responsible for putting the commie in the WH as ACORN and I suddenly deify President Bush and am not a conservative?!?!

Oh, and I did read your entire post. You support the WOT, just not the one conducting it. Much like the commies I faced off on the streets of DC weekly for 4 years that support the troops, but don't support what they do.
Do you support fire fighters, too? Or only as long as they do not distinguish any fires?

So let me ask you - what kind of a god do you worship that allows you to blatantly lie like this?

What kind of person are you that is incapable of taking responsibility for his own words?

Every word both of us has said is here in black and white. It is obvious that you are a bald faced liar from this post. It's obvious that you have distorted and deceived by your words in this post, and those upthread.

And I'm not going to waste my time defending myself against such obvious lies and distortions. You have indicted yourself. There's no need for me to say another word.

I am dumbfounded that you believe he was against amnesty for illegals.

When did I say such a thing? You may need to work on your reading comprehension. I said: President Bush did not give amnesty to millions of illegal alien invaders

and he didn't. The rest is just argumentative.
