My mom hasd asked this very same question i nhte past- just hwen important topics are being discussed, or right after liberals stop long enough for a republican to say soemthing, the voice cuts out, or the picture goes off, or htere’s some ‘technical problem’ goign on- Not sure if there’s anythign to it, but it’s odd though that this keeps happening- if it gets too bad- we’ll write fox and ask what’s goign on
But I thought Geico pulled their ads from fox because of Glen Beck?
Even with direct TV? Then I guess it must be those back benchers. I suppose I can un-cock the shotgun now, & remove the barricades from the doors & windows, eh?
Thanks faucetman...
I happened here in Sandy Eggo too. Dear Leader did not want us to hear what he had to say.
Your thoughts are well stated...& ping to your mom! I believe the word from Geico was that they had just targeted a different time slot...saying it had nothing to do with Beck...?
Alright! I’m moving the barricades back into position!

Yeah, we don’t control when the ads start. It’s pumped in through the satellite feed and we deliver it to your house over our cable lines.
Thanks for that. It clears up a lot.
I expect you are right, I think it was just a goof up.
But don’t try to stifle a good paranoia thread.
Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice.
I’ll have to think on that one!
I hate the way that FnF interrupts the steady flow of advertisements with occasional news briefs and short, 4 question “interviews.”

Well, that is certainly a different way of looking at things - LOL!
No, they've made their money by putting people on the air that attract viewers.
There's a huge difference.
Sure, I know they do whatever it takes to make the bottom dollar, but theyve made their money by standing their ground on the issues.

Maybe we’re just using different words here - for ie. I do not see Glenn Beck changing over to be a dim, or Hannity, or OReilly (hmm?), so my point being is that these hosts stand their ground, & the FNC allows them to do so.
Just don’t miss the difference. Fox News is no more a pinnacle of morality than is McDonald’s. They both exist to make money for their stockholders. Period.
