. . . Mark McKinnon, a former adviser to Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) and other Republicans, said there is an "opportunity for Republicans" to tap into legitimate fears about an overreaching federal government. But he said that "right-wing nutballs are aligning themselves with these movements" and are dominating media coverage.

"It's bad for Republicans because in the absence of any real leadership, the freaks fill the void and define the party," McKinnon said. . . .

Thank you for the research and reminders. This man is a Democrat who advises and offers campaign funds to Republicans when it helps his PR firm. This is yet more evidence of the self-destructive nature of the RINO Party, for whom popularity among the elites long ago replaced principle as their North Star.

McKinnon was also one of many contributors who donated money to McCain to help insure his nomination, and then took it back later on (per FEC records, 2008).

I’m sure Harry Reid was deeply disappointed.

Are there any stories of taunting by ACORN goons trying to get a reaction from the Tea Partiers? It struck me that would be the perfect place to trump up some “violence”.

Obviously, one of the RINOs that advised McCain pursue the policy of using ‘Spine from a Can’, when dealing with issues the Dims throw hissy fits about.

And don’t forget: “eschew” is pronounced “es-keeyoo”, NOT “es-chew”, as in “chew gum”.

I've always pronounced it "es-shoe".

Lack of leadership has been the problem since Reagan. Since Reagan every one of my votes has been against someone.
When asked who I voted for I can honestly say “no one” even though I voted.
