With Obama telling his ACORN thugs to "get in their faces" for tea parties, the bullying comes from the nation's leader, whose low ethics do nothing to change stereotypes and truly uplift the impoverished by personal example of kindly bridging the gap between races, rather than inciting them.
And good people like Bill Cosby, who speak out the truth are ignored or derided by their own people.
ACORN is going down just like Van Jones.
[the bullying comes from the nation’s leader]
I agree with all you said!
and good riddance to them! Time to Take Back The Country
[Time to Take Back The Country]
The March on Washington should have made an impression on them, lol. Put the fear of ‘whatever God’ they believe in - in them.
- loss of money and power, I believe that might be.
Not to mention Serena Williams was on Good Morning America this morning and turned her “apology” into an opportunity to sell her book. She must have repeated the title 4 times. It was shameless.
But maybe that’s the point.
I did not give her a pass. A pass would say she should not have been penalized.
How about this comparison:
1. William was a contestant protesting the outcome.
2. West would be as if someone from the stands came out on the court and starting yelling at a line judge because of a ruling against their favorite player.
Which is worse? I don’t see them as closely related.
Ping !

ALL of the people referenced in this story were LIBERALS.

I profoundly disagree. There is no excuse for what the lady's actions.
“I am not a big fan of the Williams, but outbursts by athletes have a long long history.”
“There you go, giving her a pass for contemptible behavior...”
I agree with JLS. Did you know, for instance, that Marat Safin “lost it” in a tournament in 2008 when a questionable and non-flagrant foot-fault was called on him?
If you hadn’t heard about that, here’s 2 take-aways:
(a) you have to go back a year to find any call even closely equivalent — foot-faults are rarely called.
(b) losing your temper on a foot-fault call is not unique, but the press is not putting any perspective of that sort around its reporting, and casual fans can’t appreciate how infuriating that call can be.
Playing a national final in singles is a uniquely singular challenge, no teammates to lean on, and the mental toughness test is at the highest level in sports. Champions need to have a mentality like lions, ready to pounce, even though they preserve their manners on the outside. It’s one thing to lose, but when the opportunity to win, so hard fought for, is snatched away by a third-party, many many players would snap like Serena did.
No matter what uninformed people may say or write, Serena was still in the match when that ridiculous call was made.
Del Potro made a harder comeback yesterday then what would have been required by Serena.
That’s what they call soul. Seriously. I was in college back in the 60s and was constantly hearing about “soul” and if you had to ask what soul was you didn’t have it etc.
Finally someone pointed out some specific behaviors as having soul and I remember thinking, no, those are just people who were never taught manners so they behave like trash or drunks or whatever.
Nothing to do with race although the race pimps have somehow turned trashy behavior into a virtue.
I guess it’s like wearing the waist band of your jeans down around your knees to imitate prison dress.
Well said. This is what Black Liberation Theology is all about.
what is common about these two, anyway?
do you have a picture, maybe i can tell.
Yes, all those scientists, researchers, doctors, and engineers the black “community” produces are so valuable that we should tolerate their violence and oafishness.
If it had been Venus, she wouldn’t have cursed anyone.
She would have faked an injury, thus depriving her opponent of a real win...
I agree, but the fact that what Serena did has been done before and what West did hasn’t is not a logical comparison. One was an act of violence, which is commonplace in black culture. The other was an act of absolute narcissism and boorishness.
look, i support wilson. i sent him $$$!!!
but can we really call serena all these names for relatively the same thing wilson did? serena did it during a sporting event. kanye was a little off the charts but it was the MTV awards so no one really cares.
wilson did it during a speech in the full chamber. so let's get a little perspective.
