I like to listen to Mark, but his show is starting to turn into Weiner Nation with its attacks on a fellow conservatives. We have a common enemy.
Your evidence, please? This is just as specious as liberals chanting "Bush lied, people died." WHAT LIE DID HE TELL? Similarly, where and when did Beck directly read or present anything Levin write or said without attribution? Beck has said that he has not read Liberty & Tyranny.
When a number of radio talkers are discussing the same topics day after day and they hold similar positions on those topics, their commentary is going to sound similar. I repeat, please present your evidence of a direct rip-off.
I try to catch every minute of every day's broadcast of Beck, Limbaugh and Levin. (retirement makes this possible) I listen to & record Beck & Limbaugh, in order to catch up with things that I may miss while running errands, and I download Levin's program to listen to overnight.
I'm irritated with Levin's thinly-disguised jealous snits about Beck, but I've also written to Beck to take him to task for not mentioning Levin's book or efforts. He talks about other books so frequently, it's very surprising that he hasn't read Levin's.
I agree with those who say: "Put the pettiness aside and work together to save our country!"
Mark is an historical asset, and an individual. Who cares if he dislikes Beck. IMO it is entertaining.
Yeah its like saying Bethoven ain't no Mozart, or the Rolling Stones ain't no Beatles...
What the hell? They trying to divide us ? Is this their plan?
Whoever asked that question is a trouble maker. They are unique individuals each one. They each have a different kind of influence. And lets not get caught up comparing them. It can be a smokescreen..
Beck is his own tactic.
Rush is the other hand.
Levin despises Beck for some reason. He’s said things that show contempt for him, usually not mentioning the name but you know who he’s talking about. Once I heard him say “Glenn”, and today it was just out there. I can’t understand it. Glenn has a different approach than Levin, etc., but he’s still doing good work. (But he’s no Rush, though.)
One’s Mantle, one’s Maris. We’ve got room in our lineup for both. No need to compare them.
Sometimes Beck does ok, but presently he is only on this band wagon for his own agrandisement. He is way short of being a conservative, and I find it rather insulting when someone calls him one.
He’s definitely not in Rush’s league.
“Beck ‘ain’t no Rush Limbaugh,’ says Mark Levin”
Thank god, we need all three of them.
I am at work when Rush and Beck are on. But I keep up with what is being said and done. I listen to Levin on my long commute home in the evening.
IMHO, Rush is a ground breaker, a leader. Beck has done some excellent work and making a huge name for himself. I love the knowledge and fire that Mark contributes.
I was disappointed that Levin took the bait. Through loyalty or for whatever reason.
We all fight on the same team, and united these folks are unbeatable (as are we).
The ratings war need to be retired. That's what it boils down to. But we are fighting a very big battle. I am disappointed.
Mark....the problem is, you and Glenn are a lot alike. You both are passionate about this country.
Right now our country needs both of you and working together with Limbaugh and Hannity would probably take down the thugocracy we have in DC right now.
Please follow Ronald Regean's 11th Commandment.
Thou shalt not speak ill of any other Republican.
I will put my own provision in of "Except if they are a RINO".
Limbaugh, Beck, Levin and Hannity have their own talents and niches. Please let all jealousies go to get on the same team to save America.
God Bless America!
Mark...chill baby.
You are the brightest we have but let’s not eat our own.
Beck is on a roll, let him live it.
This "story" is a distractor at best, and a disruptor at worst.
Just drop it.
Two shouters and screamers that only repeat what has already been said on the previous 9 hours of radio (Bennet, Beck, Limbaugh)
Beck is like a Limbaugh who doesn’t scare women. Hence Beck’s success on TV, where Limbaugh failed.
Much better if Levin, with a hit book out there, had taken the high ground and referred the questioner to the very different personalities and emphases of the genius Framers of that Constitution--none superior or inferior--but all passionate and devoted to the ideas of liberty (as in "iberty and Tyranny").
Once again, we can see how unique and special that group was who were assembled in this little sliver of earth, between two great oceans, to have put aside their petty differences to write a Constitution for government that has lasted for 222 years!
Set aside comparisons. The task for today is much larger than childish comparisons.
