I agree with 100% on Barry Farber. But I was never a fan of Tony Snow. Tony was a nice guy, but he also had a liberal streak in him a mile wide. He was more than willing to sacrifice other’s interests for the purpose of his moral posturing. He was anathema to those of us in California who have been inundated with massive illegal immigration for the last 20 years.

OK, that’s two references.

I’ve been a conservative for about 30 years. Read/heard every conservative/libertarian from Buckley to Rand and Rothbard to Goldwater. The good ones and the bad ones. The populists and the minarchists; the christian reconstructionists and the objectivists. Libertarians, nationalists and libertarian nationalists. I’ve read, seen, or at least heard of them all....or so I thought. From the Locke-adoring Russell Kirk to the incomprehensible tribalism of Leo Strauss.

But what the heck is a Barry Farber?

Hank
