“Stunning, total defeat”???

Not hardly. These folks will never accept that. ACORN will probably change its name (if it hasn’t already done so) & revive itself as a different organization. It will get right back to the “people’s struggle”, like the communist guerrillas that they are or Islamic terrorists that are waiting in the wings for the right moment to explode their suicide bomb.

I thought they had already instituted a name change?

From this article: http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/blogs/beltway-confidential/ACORN-drops-tarnished-name-and-moves-to-silence-critics-48730537.html

“We’ve known for many months now that the name ACORN is going to be retired,” Reid said. “The name has been so damaged to the point where the leadership knows it simply can’t go on as it has with the ACORN label out front and center, especially after all of the reporting.” In fact, the process has already begun, she noted. Wade Rathke, who founded the organization, announced on his blog that ACORN International has officially changed its name to “Community Organizations International.”

Let them.

It wouldn't be hard for a FReeper or two to walk into the old ACORN offices, ask around about who used to occupy them, find their new location and perform yet another YouTube sting.

Digital videocameras are quite small and cheap these days. And easily concealable.
