Very disturbing story. My father and I were both bitten by a Scottie, several years ago. Dog was little, but very aggressive. Got my dad in an artery in his arm and he almost bled to death before he could get to a hospital. Dad was trying to pet the dog.
Turns out that, once the dog was taken from the family that owned him and placed with another family, his aggressive behavior calmed dramatically. Loving family made all the difference.
