The recording and distribution of the class activity were unauthorized. But not the shameless adulation of our Fearless Leader on a scale that would have delighted Nicolae Ceausescu.
That, at least, was perfectly kol b'seder.

So the activity was both sanctioned and authorized, but the leaking of the incriminating evidence was unauthorized. Nice.

Er, he doesn’t see anything wrong with forcing children to sing hymns of praise to Dear Leader. He’s just annoyed that it got “leaked.”
Talk about a non-apology.

Strange. Obama never served our country. This Praise Fest took place a few weeks after Obama took office. What a crock.

There is no excuse for what they did. Could you imagine the outrage if school kids were made to sing to G. W. Bush? Heck, I would join the outrage!
Another reason to homeschool.

I just saw this video. They are literally praying to him. “In his sight all are equal”????? As if he were a deity?
And besides, it’s not even true.

I could teach them a song about Obama, but it might actually piss the parents off to teach the kids those kind of words.

“The activity took place during Black History Month in 2009, which is recognized each February to honor the contributions of African Americans to our country”
Okay, Mr. Superintendent, now we understand.
Please post similar videos you made of children singing to Condi Rice, Clarence Thomas, and Colin Powell.

My fear is that this kind of "praise" and adulation is indeed happening on a regular basis.
It shouldn't happen anytime and Black History Month is no excuse. It will be unauthorized to report this activity.

"The recording and distribution of the class activity were unauthorized."
No doubt.
