even people that don't own guns are hoarding ammunition "just in case."

Say what? When someone who doesn't know the difference between a bullet and a cartridge writes about ammo and guns, I tend not to believe anything they write.

If you are in California, it sucks. .308 difficult and expensive. Nearly $50 per box 20.

Got lucky and found some at Walmart for $17/Winchester. Probably won’t see that again.

I have been in other states and .308 is difficult there as well. I don’t get it.

I go to the range and everyone on the line is shooting .223/5.56 and I mean everyone. Some guys have cases of the stuff and fire away. They have two sometimes 3 .223/5.56 configurations and just keep unloading.

I would think those would be in shortage. But, you can find them all day long and the prices are reasonable.

ditto .270 and .40. Which I just happen to not shoot.
