It’s all well and good to teach students to respect our government and the president. But we all know the liberals would have gone ballistic if anyone had taught kids to sing the praises of George W. Bush. This event crosses the line.

This wasn’t praising the things Obama had done. By February about all he’d accomplished was overturning Bush’s positions on abortion.

This was about echoing DNC mantras and Socialist positions. Doesn’t MATTER if inequities do NOT exist (equal work for equal pay) NOR that Obama has done nothing to “change” them.

It seemed to me that the black teacher, the Burl. Board of Ed., were willing to be arrogant, have enough chutzpah to tell the parents, ‘it is our time, we are getting back at The Man by taking kids and showing them that our guy is worthy of praise whether you want it or not.’ ACORN and SEIU have the same arrogance with their minority workers. One might have some sympathy if the arrogance did not border on tyranny.
