Palin is the most "damaged" Republican because of the smear job engaged in by the media and Hollywood. All most of the country knows about her is what both of told them. So, she isn't a good measure right now of what a potential race would look like. And, Obama's approval numbers are among the lowest for recent Presidents at this stage of his Presidency and things are likely to get far worse for him.
The only polls that mean anything right now are the ones for gov. in New Jersey and Virginia., I think the GOP will win back Virginia although I am skeptical about NJ.
