The problem is not that they will break out of prison. The problem is that, once here, they will have access to federal courts run by politicized judges who will release the terrorists to live among us. And perhaps to kill and maim again. These former officers, although few in number, will be relentlessly hyped by the MSM. They are vile disloyal men whose ambition has overcome their love of country. We have seen this before. Think Benedict Arnold.

She’s over 50% on both questions, favorability and running for office, that’s pretty good.

Most of these “generals and admirals” are apparently also lawyers, or held the equivalent military positions. Looks like they set the priority on their loyalties. Lawyer first, officer second.

So how about we hold these Generals personally responsible for any mischief these Guantanamo detainees get into after any move. If they kill someone, then these Generals elect one of their own to be executed. If they so much as spit on a guard, these Generals have to pick one of their group to be spat upon.
Sound like a plan, gents?

We can't close GITMO. Where will we put the biggest super terrorists of all time, Barack Obama and his whole cabinet once they are tried for treason.

When I read the article I was surprised Clark or McPeaks name wasnt there. I would have expected both of them to be leading the "charge".

Obama and the Dems could close GITMO in a heartbeat it they wanted. How is Cheney or Liz preventing Obama from closing GITMO? Neither of these two are in the government. Is Obama and his ilk trying to scapegoat Cheney? Is this a political ploy in which Obama says that he wanted to close GITMO, but Cheney wouldn't let him? None of this makes much sense to me.

I believe it boils down to Human Rights First gathering a group of perfumed princes in the form of general officers to politically speak out against the Cheney’s. The princes are irrelevant.
