You and me both - WRT David Price!
He was defeated by former Raleigh Police Chief Heineman back in the 1994 Republican Revolution.
Then, the NC Dems in our “beloved” Legislature gerrymandered his district so that it no longer included more Republican favoring areas and did include more Democrat favoring areas...leaving Price in a “safe” seat all these years.
Unless Repubs can get control of the NC House and Senate and get through redistricting to change this, I am afraid Price or his successor will be there forever.
Somebody - I think it was someone on FR - said in essence - the key to understanding NC politics is to understand Durham. Guess it’s kind of a mini-Chicago there.
