A sea of 150 white-coated doctors, all enthusiastically supportive of the president and representing all 50 states, looked as if they were at a costume party as they posed in the Rose Garden before hearing Obama's pitch for the Democratic overhaul bills moving through Congress.
OOPS! A crowd of 150 doctors gathers in the Rose Garden to support the health-care overhaul -- as White House staffers scramble to hand out camera-ready white coats to those who forgot their own.
The physicians, all invited guests, were told to bring their white lab coats to make sure that TV cameras
But some docs apparently forgot, failing to meet the White House dress code by showing up in business suits or dresses.
So the White House rustled up white coats for them and handed them to the suited physicians who had taken seats in the sun-splashed lawn area.

Member of “Doctors for America” which was originally “Doctors for Øbama “ or a spin-off of Doctors for Obama, a 2008 campaign arm that aggressively pushed the Democrats' government health care takeover.
In other words the good Dr. Parnell is not non-partisan, he is totally in the tank with the communists.
I thought it was a meatpackers convention.
These are obviously doctors who all got “Ds” on their tests and require government support to continue (mis)treating patients.

Phoniness. Phoniness is the only way to describe this entire administration. From a phoney biography to those phoney styrofoam columns to tales of Olympic memories to a staged lab-coated photo op. The only thing real about this gang is the very real threat they are to this country.
I noticed that most of the doctors listed are from blue states. Dr Winfred Parnell is one of the few from a red state. He is an OB/GYN at Medical City in Dallas.

What’s sweet is the fact that the handing out of the lab coats was captured by a photographer. Hoist by his own petard!
DR. ZANEB BEAMS: A 10 percent reduction in most physicians' salaries, while it's difficult for a lot of us primary care physicians out here to make payroll at the end of every couple of weeks, a 10 percent reduction in our income is really not going to be that painful for us. And most of us, if you ask, most of us would be willing to make a teeny bit less in order to provide our patients with better care.
DR. ZANEB BEAMS: Government by the wrong people can be problematic. Government by the right people can be very well done.

This one was on the Lars Larson show yesterday. Her issue with the status quo was that insurance companies are making a profit, and that she wasn't making enough profit.
White coats? I don't think I've ever seen a doctor (other than an actor playing one on TV) wearing a white lab coat. I've seen my doctor in scrubs once or twice, but usually he just has on regular business clothes.
What a joke (and not a funny one either).
