This is incorrect. Hamilton wanted a "Citizen at birth" to be eligible, but on John Jay's advice, Gen. Washington inserted the more stringent "natural born citizen" requirement.

Now that you know the difference, you will certainly not repeat that anti-American misinformation; as that would be a lie and a slander against Gen. Washington's pro-American wisdom.

Choosing Jay's wording doesn't mean it was more stringent. Where's your evidence?

Posting your opinion doesn't settle the issue, sorry. Others with more significant voices, including the US Supreme Court, disagree.
