BEAUFORT, S.C. A 77-year-old man has lost his lower arm after he was bitten by an alligator on a coastal South Carolina golf course.
Multiple media outlets reported that the Fripp Island man was playing the Ocean Creek Golf Course about 3 p.m. Thursday when he was attacked. His name was not released.
Kate Hines with the Fripp Island Property Owners Association says the man was picking up his ball when a 10-foot alligator pulled him into a nearby pond.

You too??
;-)
Is this a Gatored Community?
Wow. Just like in “Happy Gilmore.”
I feel really horrible, my first thought on this was Happy Gilmore.
Reminds me of Happy Gilmore’s buddy Chubbs.
“Damn alligator jumped up and bit my hand off!”

I hate it when that happens, was he docked a stroke?
LOL Im not the only deranged mind here today!
Yes, it is, and gated too.
Lucky he didn’t lose his life. When a Gator gets his prey in the water it’s usually lights out.

Maybe he was fined for feeding the wildlife?
... The man was rescued, when recent Nobel Peace Prize recipient and avid golfer, Barack Hussein Obama (mmm, mmm, mmm), happened to knock the gator unconscious with a wild drive from the fairway to the left of the pond.

Shoosh, this guys is hung!
Hmmmm, a Birdie, an Eagle,.....a Gator?
He was trespassing on the ‘gator’s territory. He should have been more environmentally conscious, as well as a better steward of the alligator’s setting. His evil golf ball probably hurt the ‘gator’s feelings.
Maybe the alligator should file a lawsuit - isn’t that what one of our new czars has said?
Yes, it’s a hazard and there’s a one stroke penalty and he gets to drop his ball behind where it entered the water.
Now if he decides not to complete the round, he should stop at the pro shop and tell the pro that he won’t be able to post his score for handicap purposes.
He'd win, hands down...
Carl Weathers would have had a nice pair of boots if that gator had attacked HIM....just ask Richard Kiel....
