By all accounts, Tarek Mehanna seems an unlikely aspiring terrorist. He grew up in the Boston suburb of Sudbury, went to private schools, and, following in his father’s footsteps, earned a Ph.D. in pharmacology. Given all the advantages of wealth, education, and freedom afforded in America, Tarek Mehanna had a bright future.
But a federal complaint against Mehanna describes aspirations of killing former President George W. Bush, mowing down shoppers with automatic weapons at a mall, and failed efforts at joining the ranks of terrorists abroad.
A former religious teacher described him as a “fun-loving, ordinary, typical American kid.” Mehanna would bring comics to class and was a big fan of Superman. A friend laughed at the notion that Mehanna could ever be a terrorist. At his court appearance on Wednesday, Mehanna’s father claimed that the charges against his son were “a show.”
An online acquaintance of Mehanna argued with me, saying that the charges had no merit. ...

Once, just ONCE, I would like to hear them say that he is a little monster and got what was coming to him.
I must say that I am actually aware of ONE news story in the Atlanta area where some kid got busted for armed robbery and murder, and they interviewed his mama, and she said, "I TOLD him to quit hanging around with those gangstas and dealers, or he would come to no good!" And everybody said, "He shoulda listened to his mama."
But that is the only time THAT has ever happened. It was a nine days' wonder around here.

Thought the headline read: “Boston Terrier Suspect”. I was having some difficulty imaging that in my head.
What will be the reaction to a terror attack staged by home-grown Moslem fanatics? Will the Leftists be seen as the enablers they are? What will be done with American Moslems? One of the recent terror plots involved people living no more than 60 miles from me. It is becoming obvious that a successful attack is only a matter of time. And if there is one successful attack others will certainly follow as wannabes are emblodened to become “martyrs for the cause”. The Israelis have had significant success in stemming terror attacks by walling off the population from whom most of the attackers come. Might something like that happen here if American citizens join the jihad? And mightn’t the Left use terror attacks as the excuse they need to impose tyranny on all?

You can't teach or beat the hate that the Quran instills out of the. Send them all to a country where they don't have to assimilate - Paki, Saudi, Sudan, Somalia, Chad, Yemen.
I was telling a hunt test judge just the other day that there could be ONE land mine in a 50-acre field, and I'll just step right in it. I keep a box of plastic garbage bags and a spare pair of boots in the back of my truck.

Me, too. Was having a problem imagining a little black and white dog terrorizing the community.
This is a prediction, not a threat: every mosque within fifty miles of the attack will be torched.
