Actually 75 to 80% of know reserves are in the lower 48, the whole Alaska thing was a "Pipe Dream". LOL!!!!

Actually the only agreement was an agreement to talk about an agreement. You cannot drill and cross federal property with approval from congress, and the welfare queens want the tax payers to fund it.. Never going to happen.

Actually, shale gas tends to cost more to produce than gas from conventional wells, due to the higher expense of fracturing treatments and horizontal drilling required to extract gas from shale formations.

Alaska’s North Slope holds massive deposits of both conventional gas, as well unconventional natgas in the form of recoverable gas hydrates.

Talking is about the normal outcome of political agreements. But you are correct that for anything like his to happen in AK will require a lot of agreements with the Feds and when that happens the state most likely will be screwed. Almost 70% of the Alaska’s land mass is owned by the Feds. They will dictate what, when, where, who benefits and cost if and when this dream reaches fruitation.
