It would not have. this is beautiful. It shows that Bibi knows he is an enemy. He just gave the biggest finger to a US “President” that has ever been given.

I pretty sure they would have disagreed on strategy but the mutual respect would definitely there.

George W. Bush loves this country and honored the office of the presidency, at the very least the PM would have recognized that and showed respect. What we have now is a Whitehouse occupied by Chicago thugs disrespecting everything the establishment stands for, what's there to respect. I just hope there'll be something left to salvage after they're gone.

Agreed. Bibi and Bush would have been keeping in touch simply as friends, not to mention as allies, and informally first, formally second, Bibi would have told Bush he was coming.

OTOH, IF, in the very very unlikely case, Bibi had come unannounced, Laura and President Bush would have dropped everything to welcome him and to give him the world class audience he deserves.
