UNITED NATIONS (AFP) – US drone strikes against suspected terrorists in Afghanistan and Pakistan could be breaking international laws against summary executions, the UN's top investigator of such crimes said.

"The problem with the United States is that it is making an increased use of drones/Predators (which are) particularly prominently used now in relation to Pakistan and Afghanistan," UN Special Rapporteur on Extrajudicial Executions Philip Alston told a press conference.

"My concern is that drones/Predators are being operated in a framework which may well violate international humanitarian law and international human rights law," he said.

Has the UN EVER come out against the "ass bombs" the towelheads are using now in public places?

These laws were written by lawyers and diplomats, most have exceptions for things like military necessity, in other words there are enough loopholes that nothing more than talk can come from these so called possible violations.

Obama will likely agree with the UN, comply and apologize.

Shooting someone in combat is not a violation of any law our country should care about. As for the UN, give them a Nobel Peace Prize and hope they go away quietly.

U.N. and International (Sharia) Law, it’s time to pat you on the back while ushering you out of our home. You’ve worn out your welcome on our shores. Take Zero with you and set him up as your Agenda 21 czar.

Anything labeled “United Nations” or “U.N.” is utterly worthless and should be ignored.

"UNITED NATIONS (AFP) – US drone strikes against suspected terrorists in Afghanistan and Pakistan could be breaking international laws against summary executions, the UN's top investigator of such crimes said."

~~~~~~~~~~~
"Extrajudicial" and "summary" executions? Like this?
Those who perpetrate such acts deserve "summary execution".
The Geneva Convention applies only to uniformed military services -- not to criminals organizations who murder civilians, and then, disguise themselves in civilian clothes and hide out among civilian populaces to use them as human shields.
Until the UN comes up with acceptable rules (obeyed by both sides) in non-uniformed combat, the USA should act by its own rules -- and the UN can STFU!
Even better,
