More Disapprove of Obama's Handling of Economy: Poll
CNBC ^ | 10/28/2009 | Staff

The hopeful mood that accompanied the start of President Obama's term has given way to deepening concern about the nation’s economic troubles, according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.

In the survey, a 52 percent majority of Americans described the nation as headed "off on the wrong track," compared to 36 percent who said the U.S. is "headed in the right direction." Though Obama's overall approval rating remained unchanged at 51 percent, assessments of Obama's handling of the economy have declined.

Some 47 percent approve his economic stewardship, down from 50 percent in September, while 46 percent disapprove, up from 42 percent in September. The telephone survey of 1,009 adults, conducted Oct. 22-25, carries a margin for error of 3.1 percentage points.

One reason for that gradual erosion may be an increasing sense among voters that Obama should be held responsible for economic conditions at a time when unemployment stands at 9.8 percent and is expected to continue rising past 10 percent. While Americans by 3 to 1 say Obama inherited today's economic difficulties rather than caused them, that assessment was an even more lopsided 5 to 1 in June.

Zero will be taking his cohorts in Congress down with him. We The People recognize the False God for what he is and what his goals are. Our proud history will see us through this disaster and We The People will vote in 2010 and 2012 to fix it.

The nation disagrees with EVERY Obama issue yet they show a positive reading on his popularity????? BS!

Nobody likes the atmosphere, any of the food, the service or the prices of a restaurant but they like the place because of the ****-eating grin on the owner who greats them at the door.

Some 47 percent approve his economic stewardship

HUH??? How do you live in this country...and see unemployment going up, people having their hours cutback, continuing foreclosures, more vacant buildings in each town...and say "Hey...that Obama is doing a great job. I approve".????

We The People will vote in 2010 and 2012 to fix it.

IF we get the chance. And if honest people get to count the votes.

...And If honest people get to count the votes.

That is certainly a very genuine concern. If elections are conducted "The Chicago Way" we are in real trouble.

Honest elections:

I've done some studying on this. Their "fraud factor" is about 2%, it averages out to that. What that means is that we have to win by 6 to 9 percent. Now, that may be hard but I think in '10 it can be done. I'm working with my Congressman, a conservative republican, to keep him in office. He won by 10 points in the last election. There will be massive fraud in this next election, and we will have to work harder. Depending on which state you live in, the State Attorney General, and the Secretary of State may help, but if you live in a BLUE state, don't count on JACK. The USAG won't even blink. Therefore, the only way to defeat your local RAT is to work, and work hard. Get involved, get engaged and WORK, and start the process right now. Freedom is not free.

Oh yea. Poll watchers, poll anything. That's another way. You vote first and spend the rest of the day making sure that the process is conduced Constitutionally. Look into that as well. One day out of your life is not too much to ask for your liberty.

This going to be tough, but we can do it. Remember, this is a midterm election, most of the radicals come out for the "full term" elections, therefore, turn out will be in our favor. Turn out as many people as you can.

It’s just more proof, as if we needed it, that there are a whole lot of dirt-stupid people in this country.
I see a few at work every day, usually with drool hanging from their chins.
