I’m sorry to have to think like this. It’s not just Obama, though he certainly is the biggest part of the problem. I think it goes far beyond him, though. The entrenched bureaucracy, made up of lawyers, professional politicians, paper pushing clerks, and government workers who have never held a private sector job is not what the Founding Fathers envisioned. Self serving file clerks making rules with no input from the public, or attachment to the real world is the death of this country. Couple that with a leftist cadre that is intent on imposing fascism, and destroying any semblance of free thought and action, and I damn well guarantee in 5 years you won’t recognize this country. Remember, it took the democratically elected Hitler less than two years to assume total power. We’re 10 months into that time frame.

To anyone on this thread who has an honest bone in their body, there are some things that need to be said here.

First of all, I really resent the posters who swarm these threads with nothing to offer except derision and insults and for NO other reason than to kill debate or discussion THEY deem unworthy. It is not anyone’s job on this board except for the OWNER of this board to decide what he deems unworthy for discussion.
BT asked the question, “Don’t you get tired of....”
Jim Robinson said very simply, “NO.”
That should have ended it. It didn’t.

Secondly, all you attorneys who have posted to these threads over time need to understand who Orly is and what she has done. She is someone who knows very little about the practice of real law. She has proven that time and time again as you well know. But that does not make her stupid. She is a crusader and her fight should have been in the media, in protests, and taken to the streets, NOT into a courtroom.

So here is the crux of it. IF Alan Keyes had not retained her and given her notoriety, NONE of this would have happened. Alan Keyes is truly the person I blame, more than Orly Taitz, for this circus. HE is the one with the keen intelligence and political mind and he KNEW from the outset exactly what he was doing. He knew this was outrageous, but he went ahead with it anyway BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT HE DOES.

Who Is Alan Keyes? Constitutional Scolar
Politics – Alan Keyes was awarded a Ph.D. in government affairs from Harvard in 1979, after writing his dissertation on the theory of American constitutional government. He began his college studies ten years earlier at Cornell University, where he was influenced by American philosopher Allan Bloom

Now... Alan Keyes had the bonafides in most peoples’ minds to make this untried, untested, Russian immigrant crusader look all too legitimate. If his name had not been attached to this lawsuit as someone others believed they could look to with confidence, I doubt if so many military and ex-military people would have signed on to this.

He encouraged it, he hyped it, and when this is past, he will find someone or something else to keep himself relevant with. He should be ashamed of himself for dragging so many trusting and innocent people into this, but I doubt that he is, and I doubt anyone will blame him because Orly Taitz is the perfect fall guy for this fiasco. Does anyone here DOUBT that he knew exactly what he was doing? Because Orly sure didn’t.

Keyes used her and I think it is reprehensible.

As for Orly, she tried as best as she knew how to actually win this case, but she did not use the law to do it. She was running on emotion without a legal leg to stand on.
you don’t go into a fight like this without a healthy knowledge of Federal law, Constitutional law, and a complete understanding of courtroom etiquette, let alone the proper way to prepare motions and briefs. She wasn’t experienced at all and she treated this case as if it was a media game that could be won or lost on nothing BUT emotion. She wanted obama out so badly, she could not understand why every judge she appeared before did not share her outrage.

No judge can, or should, issue ANY ruling on a purely emotional basis, (although I have seen more than a few judges who might have liked to.) Judge carter, having been presented with endless loops of high emotion but no hard facts, no legal justification, by an attorney who turned his courtroom into a stage for her fans, wasted his time and the court’s time for hours after she was told it would have no bearing on the case because he hadn’t read it yet, still showed her kindness and courtesy lesser judges might not have. He might have even sympathized with her.

After reading his opinion and his ruling, I would say that he probably tried as hard as he could to find ANYTHING worth salvaging. Suborning perjury is an extremely serious offense. The end NEVER justifies the means in a court of law. At least it is not supposed to.

Finally, I go back to a point I made months ago. Going into a courtroom to demand that obama produce his birth certificate brings into play the FIFTH Amendment. IF obama ran for the presidency knowing full well he was NOT elegible, he has committed a fraud. Fraud is a crime. You cannot force someone to incriminate themselves. In this case, with NO VALID, hard evidence to document his actual place of birth, or even his rightful name, nothing but hearsay, (as plentiful as it might be,) this goes nowhere as a civil suit against obama, the person and to date, no one can prove that a crime has been committed.

Those who ostensibly know the truth are culpable, so they are never going to cop to it.

As much as I wished or hoped or prayed that Judge Carter would find even the tiniest loophole, a hairline crack of daylight in the law, that might move this forward, in my heart of hearts, I knew he wouldn’t. It saddens me very much because I fear what this person is doing to our country, and I fear that once the judicial options have run out, we will no longer have peace in this land.

As for you gloaters who think this has all been a big joke, you who attacked us mercilessly for no reason other than you could, you are part of this country too. It isn’t a joke. It has never been a joke. We are at war. If you don’t realize it by now, then you are deaf, dumb, and blind. We have been invaded from without AND within. We are under seige. You made fun of us for hoping against hope that some way, somehow, there would be a peaceful way to end this.

If we seemed too eager to you, it is because we care so much, not because we are idiots that don’t know what the next step inevitably is. Stealing away our freedom is not a joke.

so laugh. Gloat. Have a drink on me. But YOU are not a better person than I, or anyone else here, who rooted for Orly, (and everyone else that has tried to adjudicate this,) against all odds because we know our time, and our chances are running out. If you think the system is somehow on your side, I beg you to look very hard at the systematic destruction of the foundations we have always believed would last forever because our Constitution guaranteed it. The Constitution is being murdered day after day. It means nothing to these people. The LAW means nothing to these people. They flaunt their lawlessness like a badge of honor. The more outrageously, the better.

You and I and everybody here are in the same boat. United we stand, divided....we die...and our children will know slavery. Now isn’t that just TOO funny for words?
