I mean, do you seriously think that trying to win back the congress one seat at a time with democrat clones will result in anything better than the democrats themselves?

That is why liberals are so good at masking their true beliefs/agenda when campaigning.

I believe this is exactly what has happened. It started to become apparent many years ago. Conservatives in the Republican Party, those who really thought the Republican Party was still a "conservative" party after Reagan era, are fighting against three factions trying to control the party:

1. RINOs -- self aggrandizing political whores and sell-outs
2. Liberals -- "reach across the aisle, please like me" wimpy airheads like Senators Snowe, Collins etc.
3. Leftist infiltrators -- crypto-Democrats and commies out to side track and co-opt the party to their socialist agenda.

Hear, hear! It's counterintuitive to rather LOSE than seat a RINO, but only that kind of true courage leads to the kind of Republican party we need. And thus to actual success.

All Republicans who are afraid to admit to conservative principles (or don't have any), leave the party NOW.

From now on, we do not want ANY hyphenated conservatives. If you need to dilute your conservatism with "compassionate" or anything else, get OUT. There is nothing to be ashamed of for standing up for the Constitution and freedom for all.
