Since I don’t live in the district, I really don’t feel I have a right to an opinion - but from a purely political standpoint, I’d much rather see that seat go to the Democrat than to yet another RNC-sanctioned RINO.
It’s time these Smart Guys like Newt and Michael Steele get schooled.

If they haven't been schooled from losing the Congress in 2006 and Juan McCain getting buried in 2008, I don't see them getting schooled from NY-23.
“Its time these Smart Guys like Newt and Michael Steele get schooled.”
Time for them to shut up and disapear forever!!!
If you’ve ever voted in a GOP primary and considering the NRCC is involved, you most certainly have a right to your opinion.
Won’t the winner have to run again next year?
The operative argument, to which there is really no rejoinder, is, “Why should I vote for you, a slushy, mushy Republican who seemingly has adopted the Democratic platform in it’s entirety, when I can go out and vote for the real thing???”
CA....
I don’t live there either but I think that I and every other freeper have a right to an opinion. I backed mine with $201 to Hoffman.
