Newt and Steele are so stupid that they could not figure out that this whole thing was a set up from the get go. The WH insured the seat was open and then made sure the liberal Rep was the candidate and Newt and Steele went for it hook line and sinker. The wild card was Hoffman going rouge. The WH did not count on that.

Agreed. Mr.Newt is a great asset when he is on his game. In NY-23 he clearly did not educate himself sufficiently, and instead simply applied Pres.Reagan’s 11th Commandment at an inappropriate time.
