LITERALLY, we are suppposed to jump out a window if it is availabl and escape first before using deadly force against someone.

That's the Sonia Sotamayor reasoning. I heard her on C-Span say that during the rearings. Sonia said, "He could have jumped out of the window ond run away." I don't know why nobody ever mentioned that quote. I was waiting for it to make the news, and it never did.
