They showed how large the district was and the fact it takes a lot more then a hour to travel to get to their county seat to have votes counted.
The way Trippi looked when this race was mentioned, it is going to the GOP. I thought he was going to cry over Corzine. :)
Looks like if our guy wins, it'll be a squeaker. And you know what that means...
Boxes and boxes of "missing" ballot boxes full of Rat votes will be *found*!
Polls just closed.
Did all of them support scuzzyflava? Wouldn’t surprise me with Romney and Huckabee, they were 2 big RINOs.
Come on NY 23!!!!!!!!
Fulton County (WSYR-TV) NewsChannel 9 has learned voting machines in Fulton County, which is a part of the 23rd Congressional District, have been impounded, after the machines were not working property today, the Fulton County Board of Elections confirms.
The county was forced to switch over to paper ballots.
They were not planning on counting any votes Tuesday night. Were told by the Board of Elections, the paper ballots cannot be touched until the absentee ballots are opened a week from Tuesday.
The Board of Elections says they do not know how many people voted, but there are 22 districts in Fulton County.
The only person at this point who can rightly be accused of stealing this election from Hoffman is Newt Gingrich.
MM, take a good look at the trolls who we know are nowhere to be seen on these threads. Nada...
Scuzz woman being still on the ballot is the reason Hoffman is losing.
Leave it to a NY Scuz woman to bring tonight’s celebrations down.
Republican counties and precincts are in the far reaches of the district and several of the counties won’t count until tomorrow morning. They drive a long way to get in their ballots. Most of the Dem areas are already in — what is left to come is are the Conservative Hoffman areas. Too many different people are now saying the same thing.
it was not a lost cause... the RNC gave no money to this race... instead they gave a million bucks to that liberal New Yorker... this is a seat we could have had considering who Harmer was running against...
Debbie Wasserman Schultz makes me ill. What a lap dog for Pelosi.
With that far of a lead in NJ...it can’t be stolen.
breaking news: voting machines broken in fulton county court order issued http://www.9wsyr.com/content/news/breakingnews/Fulton-County-machines-break-court-order-issued/dSY52Bssm0iYlGz06S7Chg.cspx
Steele is a deep cover Dem, without a doubt. He’s a complete tool. A disgrace of the highest order.
They are going to have to be very conservative to make up this gap.
The OP(formerly the GOP)are taking votes from Conservatives!!!!
It takes a long time for some precincts to get to their county seat to have the ballots counted. They are the conservative Republican areas which have been going heavily for Hoffman. The Dem is pretty well done with their large areas and now rural areas of Upstate NY will be coming in over the next hours.
People on the ground understand. People like Hume and the rest don’t have a clue about that area and how large it is landwise.
They showed how large the district was and the fact it takes a lot more then a hour to travel to get to their county seat to have votes counted.
Remember this district covers all or parts of 11 counties. Isn’t each county counting only the precincts within that county?. But that said it does take time to get the outlying precinct boxes transported to the county counting facility. I remember as a kid being along when the boxes were hauled to the county seat and it would take a good 45- minutes for some 30 plus miles plus which include in town speeds.
I was afraid of this....
Remember folks, this all came together in the space of about 3 weeks. That’s not a lot of time to put together a good GOTV.
And SuzzyFuzzy already had Absentees banked, Party support, and the GOTV Machine under her control.
When she endorsed the Dem, she destroyed the GOTV, and cost us 5%+ of the votes in absentees, as well.
