When I was in elementary school 45 years ago our textbooks and teachers would praise the USA and tell us of the evils of Communism. Now they condemn the USA and praise Communists. Wow!
In the early days after the Cuban revolution, teachers would instruct the kids to close their eyes and pray to Jesus for candy. Of course, no candy magically appeared. Then the teachers told the kids to close their eyes again and pray to Fidel Castro for candy. Guess what the kids found on their desks when they opened their eyes again? Don’t say it can’t happen here.
