If this happened under Bush’s Presidency and he did NOT rush to Texas, the outcry would be high decibel:
“What is wrong with the President? Why doesn’t he fly immediately to Texas, to comfort the families?”
(Don’t be surprised if he winds up going to Texas soon. It is all about him first; not the families at their time of crisis.)
He won't go to Texas until his drones can guarantee a friendly, adoring crowd -- that may be never.
If I were a family member of one of the dead, or were I one of the injured, he's the last person I'd want to see.

truth_seeker you ask an excellent question. The press would be all over Bush for misteps, if there weren’t any they would attempt to find them. Obama has a tin ear that is out of space. I mean he is all about himself and when he gave the news conference today that was what you saw, he was there to help a special interst group, heaven forbid tragic events at Ft hood should get in the way of fundraising and promising the moon.
Oh, I am sure they are doing their best to find a way to make a trip so he can look mournful as it was “depicted” at Dover AFB.
