Refuse to pay the fine. Resist arrest with deadly force. You won’t be alone. Neither will I.

Well, we knew this was coming last November. In fact, some conservatives here wanted it to happen, their Obi Wan Kenobi strategy, Sit tight for a while.

“Change” the tide in 2010 and “hope” for others to join you. This can be overturned.

When in doubt ride it out. It won't get past the Senate.

It can't.

Still got a long way to go before they’re kicking down your door.

Churchill said (IIRC) “I have seen tremendous troubles in my time, fortunately most of them never happened.”

Prepare to take back what is ours.

Heck, I’ve been without health insurance for over 10 years and I’ll be damned if the government is going to force me to sign on to their ill-fated Commie agenda.

But, more importantly, it’s unconstitutional; so, just ignore it. If the Feds ever come after you, there’s over a thousand lawyers ready to jump at the chance to take your case to the United States Supreme Court.

Cheers

There were many years when I was younger, even when I was married, I did not have health insurance. Most of the time I could pay out of the pocket, or the clinic had a payment plan. I’m praying (and doing my part) to pressure my senators to not let this pass, but between Franken and Klobuchar... I haven’t a chance in hell...

You can sell a kidney and then you will be able to pay the health insurance so they don't put you in jail. At least for a while.

First, relax. It's difficult to exaggerate how politically stupid the decision was to push this vote, made by the "Progressive" (Socialist) Democrat caucus, currently in charge of the U.S. House.

It is, however, closely in league with their ways of thinking. I might as well quote Eric Hoffer, again, who wrote of this type, "The war on the present is usually a war on facts. Facts are the toys of men who live and die at leisure. They who are engrossed in the rapid realization of an extravagant hope tend to view facts as something base and unclean. Facts are counter-revolutionary.."

Your problem with this subversive and anti-American bill is exactly the problem I've had with it all along. Though there are so many things just wrong about this move, the Socialist Democrat's dream of overturning the place of the People in our constitutional republic cannot succeed without the "individual mandate."

Short of violent resistance, I determined, along with an increasing number of people, not to cooperate.

It doesn't matter to me whether this is effective in reversing this trend or overturning such a change in the law, should it pass the Senate. I won't be a slave of government willingly.

Being worried about these things does no good at all.

With that vote our present-day liberals have shown their true colors, vindicating their critics who charge them with the desire to enact despotism and to be subversive of Americanism. They show themselves to be willfully ignorant of the role government must play as a servant, not a master, of the People, that is if America is to remain America.

We have to see these people for who they really are. We knew when they were elected, some of us (not enough then, but some of us knew), anyway, that their ideology is based on hatred of themselves and their county, and naturally their fellow countrymen. We knew we were in for a long battle, a death match that requires conservation of energy and dynamic resistance, along with wakeful awareness throughout this Congress.

And last night's tragedy displayed their contempt, for themselves and their constituents, as surely as if they had planned and carried out an attack on Pearl Harbor.

Ireland and Israel both have mandatory health insurance. So there’s only Mexico left.

The bill is not law yet. The Senate has to pass an Obamacare law first. Then it goes to a conference committee. Then the final version is voted on.

Cap and TAx passed the House last summer but still has not come up in the Senate for a vote - because they don’t have the votes.

The work will be in the Senate to see that Obamacare does not pass.

You asked for my opinion and you're probably not going to like it, newbie. The fact that you are considering leaving this country because a bill has passed the house is an excellent example of how soft, weak and limp this society has become.

First of all, it has not passed the senate, the bill has not been through the reconciliation process, and it has not been signed into law by the POS prez. It does not become effective until then.

Secondly, run like a baby. Run as fast as you can to a third world cesspool like Mexico. If you believe that life is better is another country, especially across the Atlantic where much of this crap is already in effect, carry your ass ... those of us that are willing to fight for the country will be better off without you.

Thirdly and lastly, the fines that are being proposed are far less than the cost of a policy, so why would you feel compelled to buy a policy anyway?

If they put resistors in jail for refusing to pay for mandatory health insurance, a massive disobedience would quickly destroy the process.

If jail time is the required penalty for disobedience, huge numbers of people could force the government to follow its own rules to the letter (Saul Alinksy's own strategy in "Rules for Radicals") and put millions of Americans in jail. Massive civil disobedience could dismantle the monster before our very eyes in the blink of an eye by the requirement under constitutional law that every person charged with such a crime must have his or her day in court and is entitled to a speedy trial.

The federal court system in the United States would grind to an immediate halt.

The entire law enforcement system would be so busy arresting and booking millions of health-care non-payers, the entire legal process would completely break down under the weight of legal bureaucracy and criminal procedure.

Millions would become criminals and have to be dealt with and there is no practical way, short of violent, repressive tyranny, it could be done.

The American people retain enormous power regardless of what the lunatics pass in Congress.

This is one reason why Congress cannot completely overrule the will of the American people.

This was the problem with the disaster called Prohibition.

This will have to be foiught tooth and nail. They have crossed the Rubicon and have decided to fight against the American people. Now it's our turn but not just with demonstrations.I posted the following on another thread;

You need to prepare for the upcoming elections. You also need to stop the White House from manipulating the census data. The fact is that the RINOS in washington don’t seem to be interested in a streetfight. It will therefore have to go to the respective governors at the state level to make sure there is an honest count. Recruit local retired cops to do poll watching during elections, yes even in minority areas especially where the GOP rarely goes. We need to have alternative forms of communications as the left will try to shut down this website, FOX News and talk radio. They will use the enourmous power of the government to threaten the broadcasters financially. There has to be a day in midweek to organize a national strike. Not on the weekend. A massive nationwide work stoppage in midweek will create havoc and send them an impressive message. etc.. That’s just for a start. Conservatives need to start alternative labor unions and organizations. Boycott charities and foundations that support leftist causes and the corporations that finance them. Money is the grease of politics and it’s time to starve them of funding. It’s time to get serious about this. Find out which of your neighbors are big contributors to the democratic party and leftist causes. Pick some at random and picket their houses. They won’t be apt to donate quite easily if they know a price is to be paid. Boycott movies by Hollywood actors who support the left, same with TV and cable stations. target companies and start a letter writing campaign to the sponsors of these programs. Especially the ones that fund PBS. Starve the universities not just of money but also of students and send your kids to the few alternatives. This is just for starters. But we need to be organized and there needs to be organization so you need to set up databases and alternative chain communications.. There is a long road ahead.. Retaliate in kind to every slight, politics is not a gentleman’s game it operates by schoolyard rules..PLUS: READ MY POST BELOW
