if she knew (thought) the animal was dangerous, I wonder why she would be any where near it.

The woman was her boss. She said she had fed it twice when her boss was out of town. When her boss called her to help put it back in it's cage, she went.

I think the lady probably didn't say no because the Chimp owner was also her Boss.

I believe she thought the animal was dangerous but I doubt she had any idea of the true potential of the threat. I’m sure if she did, she wouldn’t have gone even if it were her boss. I have to believe if the owner knew that the animal would do something like this, she would have never asked anyone to put themselves in that kind of danger. An argument can be made that she should have known, that’s for sure.

there's also the thing about thinking that bad things won't happen to you.....

God bless this woman, and I hope medical science, before obamacare comes in, can help her in every possible way....

Sort of, but it seems to have been a very informal employment relationship. They had been friends for many years before there was any employment relationship, and Herold gave Nash a job as a dispatcher for her towing company, after Nash got laid off from a previous job, as a favor to a friend.
