Thanks for watching the show! Watch Panel Plus for November 15, 2009 with Bill Kristol, Mara Liasson, Liz Cheney and Juan Williams for more of the panel's discussion about the 9/11 terror trials.

What the heck is he talking about?
Following his line of reasoning....we'll now have to try any and all POWs from the past Gulf Wars, the Vietnam "Police Action", the Korean "Police Action", and if any are left alive...WWII!
What a maroooon!
Liz Cheney for President!
I thought Williams comments about Palin were conventionally gutless. He knows why Palin resigned as governor. The Saul Alinky dems won (this time). They were gonna give Palin endless legal bills through frivilous lawsuits and “ethic” complaints.
Juan po’d me with his snipe at Palin. Wanted to jerk a knot in his tail......grrrrr.
Darth Cheney Part II. Muhahah!
The Empire Strikes Back :-) I actually do think Liz Cheney would make an excellent President.
What a great picture! It shows that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. I would vote for anyone named Cheney, any time for any post.

I agree. She is a strong, smart Conservative woman with a plus...she has her father’s expertise at her fingertips.
The tribunal, delayed for years by lawsuits and motions from ACLU and leftist lawyers (some now working for Eric Holder), was moving toward adjudication in these five cases when Obama was sworn into office.
Attorney General Holder is a senior partner at Covington & Burling represent who approximately 18 Guantanamo detainees. Holder decides which detainees should be released, which will go before a tribunal, which will be tried in U.S. federal court. This is a blatant conflict of interest. Holder is steering into civilian courts, cases in which government evidence may be barred. Once acquitted, these foreigners can sue their oppressors for huge damages. As head of Justice Holder can pressure generous settlements to the clients of his partners and other top-dollar shysters. The logistic and security costs of these circuses to New York and U.S. taxpayers will be staggering.
Watch the property values in the residential area of lower Manhattan, which has been thriving in the past 5 years (increase in residents, new schools, new Whole Foods, new Barnes & Noble superstore), take a dive. Same for other neighborhoods up to and including TriBeCa. The media circus of these multiple trials (multiple, because the defense will likely get the trials severed), the security and traffic nightmares, and the increased risk of another terrorist attack will take a serious toll.
She's a very smart woman. Can you imagine how liberal heads would spin, were she to run?!
Liz is a great blend of both her parents. Her mom is no slouch in the brains department, either.
Love that picture and love the two people in it.
Exactly. Holder says the five defendants will be tried together but he has no way of controlling that or any other events once five teams of high-powered defense lawyers and a judge enter the picture.
It's likely that several city blocks around the courthouse, which would include City Hall, would come under restricted access during the trial. And these trials could drag on for YEARS. From Newsweek Friday:
[As they await trial, the defendants are expected to be held for months, or even years, in a high-rise, high-security Federal prison known as the Metropolitan Correctional Center, which is adjacent to the courthouse complex.]
“Liz is a great blend of both her parents.”
All the more reason she should run for high political office. What a pedigree!
I realize Juan Williams is a friend of Britt Hume, but he is spouting such crap that I will not be watching him or anything he is on agian.
The nonsense he says about Madame President is so dishonest that I refuse to listen to him any more....
You are an asshole Jaun, what a shame.
some one at gitmo needs to eliminate the problem
