“hes basically harmless”
Kinda like Alan Colmes with a tan. Not particularly bright, generally likeable and easily outmatched.
What! B.S.
This Marxist pervert has never had a "reasonable" moment on Fox since day #1...He is a slithering example of a typically cute but poisonous snake...
<After all, Yawn Williams is an African-American, and its well-known that self-centered behavior, family dysfunction, and bastard children are nearly nonexistent in the black community......
You can attack Juan plenty due to his liberal views. I don’t see the need to attack his race. Are there no dysfunctional white families? No white bastards?
I’m getting pretty tired of so-called FReepers slamming blacks and thinking they’re going to get away with it, as if there were no conservative blacks on this board.
Let’s try to keep the discussion to Juan’s misguided view of politics, not his race or your impressions of the black community.
Generally, I like Juan Williams as a liberal voice on Fox and he seems to have some principles, but when it comes to Sarah Palin, he’s got a nasty case of Palin Derangement Syndrome.
Juan gets paid to present the ‘left’ position. When there is none to take, it goes personal. Watched this segment. Both Cheney and Kristol looked like they were biting their lips to keep from laughing out loud.
I commend their restraint.
I didn’t “attack” his race—in the first place there was a /sarc tag at the end. I merely pointed out, using sarcasm, that Williams looking down his nose at the Palin family—and he did it quite a bit over the top, was very inappropriate—I just fought fire with fire.
Yes, there are plenty of white kids born out of wedlock—instead of blacks improving from past levels of that, they have gotten MUCH worse, while whites have devolved to a point where they are now at the black levels of the 1960s, which were worrisome back then. We all suffer as a result, not least many of those kids.
You could say that’s none of my business—but as a taxpayer, and a member of society-it is my business.
Everywhere I go, I hear blacks running their mouths about whatever they want, with no regard for what I think—I don’t like much of it, but they have a right to speak their piece. So do I, whether you personally care for it or not. I don’t try to hush them up, or scold them.
For my part, I’m “getting pretty tired of other so-called FReepers” telling me what I can and cannot post-or think. Who the hell are you? Any one on FR, black, white, etc is free to post what they think and speak their piece—If something is so awful, call in the mods, or the FBI, or the Pope. I don’t play schoolmarm on others-don’t do it to me—I don’t say things just to be unpleasant—I say what I have considered to be the truth.
And as far as “getting away with it” what’s that supposed to be-a threat? That’s not a good idea.
You post what you feel to be true and appropriate as you see fit—I’ll do the same. We may agree, we may disagree. This post that bent you outof shape,(while with a dose of truth, whether you like it or not), was sarcasm—you know, like when Chris Rock said Nicole Brown’s bereaved mother and sister should be forced to “F*#k” OJ. Ha ha.
Have a nice day.
Also, as parents, we have to strike a balance between too much supervision and too little, and we can't always know whether we are hitting the right target for each individual child. Sarah missed that one with one of her kids, and now she's a grandmother, but she also raised a great bunch of kids who take care of their younger siblings in a manner that proves Sarah is a great Mom. I'd love to find someone even better than her to run our country if we survive long enough for another election, but for now she seems like the best hope we have, and that's pretty good.
As for Obama, I hope and pray that his kids will turn out better than they have any right to expect with those two socialists for parents. And McCain? Let's not go there!
You know something?—I was more harsh and contentious to you in my last post then I should have been. You’re obviously a kind and intelligent person.
While I’m, frankly, not converted from my original stance due to the fact that I have reexamined, and am satisfied with my intent and the way I wrote in the original post, I certainly respect and understand your viewpoints—you may be surprised to know that my own ethos, at bottom, is not radically different than your own.
While I disagree somewhat with your post to me-you are, of course, correct in some of your views-even admirable. Your post to me deserved better than an angry, snarky return, regardless of our differing opinions on some things. I apologize for that. Take care.
ya callate Juan!
Hey Jeff, so great to see you posting your familiar and meaningful posts with that timeless and heart-rending picture of the boy accepting the flag.
This is what AMERICA is about, for those of us raised as true Americans and I have naturalized citizen friends who eschewed their hyphenated “race” label and proudly proclaim themselves Americans first and foremost.
So drag out a story from last year from a liberal to justify your bashing for Sarah just because Bristol said that she and levi are co-parenting for their son sake but not getting back together......sheesh!!!
