It probably works like this. Every morning when Obama rises he takes a deep and refreshing hot coffee high-colonic. During this meditative phase of his day he thinks,
"Let's see... how can I show my contempt for America in a manner not previously thought possible? Last week I was giving the American flag my trademarked "crotch salute."** A day or so ago I was bending over for the Emperor of Japan. Humm, what's left? I know, I'll put on the biggest mass murderer of the 20th century's signature jacket for my photo-op. And some lip gloss! And pantyhose! F**k yeah! [Fist pump]"
Don't think so? Then, as Bird Dog notes, "figure out these photos of the O in a Mao jacket from today or yesterday.
Hmm... Oh, I dunno. It’s just part of the whole entertaining-the-outta-towners that happens pretty much everywhere. I’m pretty sure several Presidents have been given a Mao jacket or shirt at one time or another. Doesn’t bother me much.
Though... he looks more natural in it than any of the others have.
Won’t Hu Jintao be slighted without an Obama bow?
Bush and Putin were wearing traditional Chinese garb, not the official bland grey and red Mao Shirts.

I think that’s the best, most natural he’s ever looked. At least since those photos of him in the fedora.

I seem to recall an economic summit meeting that took place in Indonesia some years back. All the heads-of-state & their finance ministers were attired in long shirts similar to the ones in Barak's Excellent Chinese Adventure shot.

Actually that is Mongolian not Chinese attire, and Mongolia is no longer communist since 1990.
The PRC is absolutely delighted.
He just can’t wipe that childish smile off his face, ever. He has to smile WIDE everytime. He’s also so GIDDY about “playing the part” of POTUS, that I don’t believe he’s capable of having an original thought himself. He’s the true definition of an empty suit. I’ll bet he still can’t believe he won the Lottery and has this job.
