I agree. Frum had nothing good to say about Sarah Palin. Sounded like a typical GOP operative intent on protecting the good ol boys way of doing business as usual.

The GOP elite are SCARED of Palin. She not only exposes their weaknesses, she offers an alternative.

I don’t know who the person on the phone was who countered Frum. But he was spot on right about the GOP trying to punt Palin because she don’t conform to the elitist doctrine.

In 2003 I read the book “The Right Man: The Surprise Presidency of George W. Bush” By David Frum. This was an insiders view of the white house. Frum was serving as a speech writer at the time. The book was good and you learn allot about what went on inside the white house just after 9/11, but even at the time I could tell that Frum had a IVY League contempt for this rancher from Texas. Frum would have that same dislike for any candidate not from the big IVY league schools of the NE, which is why he and others of his kind, find Palins popularity absurd.

I would say he sounds more like a Democrat. He also endorsed Obama and routinely trashes Republicans. He only keeps the title because the media prints his crap as a conservative which I don’t remember him ever being a conservative.
