the coroner’s take, that the jaw and eye damage was from falling into the Chicago River. Must have some pretty damn hard water in Chicagoland.

Or, he hit his jaw, eye, and other places sliding down the hillside including the concrete retaining wall. Have you seen photos of the scene?

Not sure if it has been reported how or why she was in a nursing home or not.

Wow. 1 cop.
They are so pathetic. Corrupt, but pathetic. Even more pathetic are the Chicago people who tolerate it.

BY MICHAEL SNEED Sun-Times Columnist

Hmmm.

It’s been reported Chicago School Board President Michael Scott, whose body was found in the Chicago River Monday morning, did NOT leave a suicide note.

Well, how about a suicide text message?

• To wit: Scott’s body was found not far from his cell phone/BlackBerry, which was left on a nearby ledge ... not in his car, which was parked yards away.

• Hmmm: Did Scott make a call or text a farewell message before he died? Is this a question police asked Scott’s widow, Diane, whom they were scheduled to talk to Tuesday?

• A strange note: Why did the initial police report claim Scott had been missing a few days — if he had visited his sister at her nursing home Sunday night? (Scott’s body was found in the wee hours Monday morning.)

• A strange location: Sneed often drives next to the upright/ crumbling concrete bridge, which looks like an angry tooth waiting to be pulled, where Scott’s body was found. It’s an ugly place and not known by many — unless you use the riverbank parking ramp at the Apparel Center or are a member of the nearby East Bank Club. Interestingly, Scott was not a member of the club.

• A business note: Sneed hears Scott, a highly successful businessman, was excited about a new “green” project he was hoping to finance involving wind turbines in Lake Calumet and Lake Michigan ... and was enthusiastic while talking about it recently to a number of Sneed sources.

Scott, husband of Diana Palomar Scott, Channel 7 TV’s vice president of community affairs, endured his share of personal tragedy.

His first wife, Millicent, mother of the couple’s two children, died earlier this year. His mother died several years ago. He is the guardian of his sister, whom he visited every Sunday in an assisted living facility — including the last day of his life.

http://chicagoist.com/2009/11/18/days_later_speculation_still_rages.php

The reasoning - they say - was partly because Scott’s first wife died in May and that his children were very distraught by the loss of their mother. Scott knew this and was helping his children seek counseling with various ministers in the Chicago area and they say no way would he have left his children to deal with that kind of tragedy. In addition, they say Scott was the primary caretaker to his sister who was very much like a mother to him and there is no way he would walk away from that.

How could they find the .380 pistol under his body if he was in the river?

I’ve always suspected that the Chinese demanded GHW Bush and then Clinton take out the Davidians at Waco, as a show of (1) a Chinese take on of leadership — that a leader can be be ruthless when needed. And (2) to provide a moral-equivalence cover for the Tiananmen square massacre.

Likewise given the coincidence of timing with the Chinese trip, I am suspicious of this school master’s death. Did the Chinese order it, as a result of Obama and Chicago’s Olympic fiasco and the heinous street killing of a good student outside a Chicago school. As a message about “Quality Control”?

Wow! Add all of your excellent source material up and it looks pretty clear to most reasonable folks that there is foul play here.

that bottle full of aspirin he swallowed didnt help either.

With great foresight, he anticipated that he might hit his head on the way down to the river.

Daley insider denies Olympics conflict
August 8, 2009 12:09

Michael Scott Sr. on Friday defended his dual roles as a key member of Mayor Richard Daley’s Olympics committee and developer of a proposed, for-profit real estate project that would sit within feet of the cycling venue if Chicago wins the 2016 Summer Games.

Responding to a Tribune investigation that found the Scott-led development team had secured crucial aldermanic support to develop city-owned vacant lots near Douglas Park, Scott said he will take no fees or profits from the project. All the proceeds would go to a group of West Side ministers, he said.
