Will Snowe or Collins cave? If not, and Lieberman hold firm, that is 41 votes there. Though maybe when it comes to final passage they could still pick up Lincoln.

As far as Nelson goes, he is not as bad as some of them but it is time to work on getting him out now. He is up in 2012 so some challenger should start raising funds now. Not too early. We can hope maybe ‘12 will be like another 1980, with the Demo president and many senators being swept out.

Last I heard Lieberman was going to oppose the bill because of Public Option, but would not vote against cloture. Has something changed? I am really hoping all of those insurance companies in Connecticut would put some serious heat on him to kill this thing.

Snowe and Collins will probably both cave. They’re as good as dems anyway. So we are probably screwed no matter what.
