The most ridiculous thing is that there are people arguing in the comments that KSM deserves to be treated like any old criminal, that he deserves a "fair" trial...BS! We have Gitmo and military tribunals for a reason!

It is ridiculous that KSM was not shot in the head and dumped into a shallow grave once we water-boarded all the information out of him that we could get! Why are we still feeding that guy?

We have Gitmo and military tribunals for a reason! Yes, they were established to uphold the Geneva Convention. You don't give those fighting in a battlefield without a uniform, authorization and identification by the country of origin. By giving KSM this trial O is Nullifying the Geneva Convention.
A military trial was the right decision and President Bush should have denied the U.S. Supreme Court any involvement and executed the Detainees pronto after a military tribunal for each. That was his mistake.
O is compounding the mistake and future presidents (including Democratic one) will regret it.

Historically, upon capture, terrorists are executed either without trial or with only the barest of a trial. You don’t spend a lot of time on them. You sweat them for information, and then put them up against the wall, or hang them.
In many conflicts it has been customary to shoot them on the spot. I don’t recommend this, but only because they have intelligence and they need to give that up before departing this mortal coil.
The terrorist who isn’t executed quickly should be the exception; he would have a very small window of opportunity to trade something of real value for his life, such as the location of his leadership. Failing that, its adios and sayonara.

This trial has little to do with KSM...it is obama's back-door witch hunt against Bush, Cheney, and the CIA.
obama needs a "stand-in", a "patsy" to blame his massive screw ups on, but he can't go after the Bush folks, and the CIA, head on...so, once it is brought up in a trial, he'll have the "teeth" he's seeking to start an investigation into Bush and the CIA.
obama is falling in the polls...he desparately needs a distraction, and this is it.
Makes me wonder though, how he justifies this big show about going after terrorism on American soil, yet has allowed the hussan shootings investigation to be swept under the rug.
clinton got a lewinsky on top of the presidential seal of the oval office rug...but obama won't be doing that...there is too much debris under obama's rug, swept there by him, i.e. birth certificate, college records, hussan shooting, etc, etc, etc.
A trial will expose all of the USA's secrets, but obama's secrets will be safe and sound.

I would like to see everyone STOP using KSM and start calling the guy by his real Islamic name. The Mainstream Media started using his initials, and the rest of us followed suit, just like sheep.

He can get off by claiming double jeopardy. He plead guilty down in Gitmo. & was awaiting his sentence. Now he'll get off due to this.
