The National Football League has become an arm of the Obama administration with its partnership with Obama's "United We Serve" program.
A video posted by the Obama administration to YouTube this week that is planned to air during broadcasts of the NFL's Thanksgiving Day games shows Barack Obama playing football on the White House lawn.
The one-minute-thirty-second propaganda video is entitled, President Obama, United We Serve, and the NFL Team Up for Fitness and Service and is described by the administration on the site:
In support of his United We Serve initiative, President Obama and NFL stars Drew Brees, DeMarcus Ware, and Troy Polamalu team up to highlight the importance of fitness for America's children. The NFLs Play 60 initiative stresses that young people can live a healthy lifestyle by engaging in 60 minutes of physical activity a day. The Presidents United We Serve initiative encourages all Americans to get engaged in their communities and help create a brighter future for our nations youth through service.
The video weaves in footage of football on the South Lawn of the White House with other football and service imagery.
Obama is seen in ultra-slow-motion running to make a finger-tip catch from the Saints' Brees and then lateraling the ball to a child.
The National Obama Football League blends Kennedy-esque iconography with 21st century video wizardry to make Obama appear as a heroic athlete.
The video closes with an invitation to "join the movement at NFLRUSH.com."
Looks like the NFL will be missing a few fans on Turkey Day, including this former fan.
I think next Obama should film a PSA for ACORN with Donte Stallworth, Adam “Pacman” Jones and Ray Lewis.
On the one hand; chasing viewers away fronm two of these games is probably a blessing in disguise. Thank you for YOUR service; which actually means a GREAT deal to most Americans!

Seems 0bama is running into troubles, though, if people volunteer to do jobs that unions could be getting paid to do. How is he going to resolve that? Discourage volunteering?
Years later, I still remember it. In 60 seconds, it said more about service than BO could read off a teleprompter in 50 speeches.
You're far more qualified to talk about service than our Current National Embarrassment. I'd imagine that the impression left would be longer lasting, too.
AFAIC, the NFL just lost a viewer for this Thanksgiving.
I have volunteered (UNPAID, the way it is suppose to be) my entire life without any help from Obama. I will put my volunteer hours up against his (even including his community organizing) anyday!
If I may politely disagree....
I think that most pols are Publicity Whores as big...or bigger than...BO. The difference is that the MSM indulges Obama, and not Pelosi, or Reid, or (pick one).
BO visited San Francisco a few weeks back. 10,000 people showed up to protest. (in SF, arguably the most liberal city in the US....certainly in the top5!) Anyway, the only reason I knew about it, is that I heard about it on FR. Mentioned it to my Dad, who's even better plugged in than I am - he'd not heard of it either.
Josef Goebbels WISHED he had control of the media like BO does. Truly, we're on dangerous ground, here.

I gotta say though, what in the hell is Rush doing wanting to waste his time being the owner of a football team? I think it shows that he’s non-serious. I think that to get a serious opposition going we need to TAKE OVER the lamestream media. The only way that’s going to happen is by competing. He should be building a media empire but instead he seems to be mostly resting on his laurels. We NEED TO FIND A WAY TO BUY CBS. A hostile takeover. Then turn it right wing and watch the money come rolling in. Then we could move on to the other enemies of the state with the levers of propaganda in their hands. I would do it, if I had the money.
He doesn't seem to understand the concept of overexposure, so this may blow up on him. Given his poll numbers, maybe it already is.
Good cop bad cop? The administration goes out talks up service and SEIU threatens local municipalities.
It will be interesting to see how this will work.
